OUR ROOTS

  • Started in May 2019 by High School friends Steve Girbach and John Mooneyham.
  • Our First venue was in the lower level of the old Manchester mill in the heart of Downtown Manchester along the River Raisin.
  • Our First show was May 2019. COVID came and the last ‘Mill’ concert was in Feb 2020.
  • We Partnered with the River Raisin Distillery and had our first concert there Nov. 22.
  • In 2024, we established Manchester Underground as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, with the mission of bringing Music and Art to the community but with an outreach element of supporting programs and facilities with music and art, for adults with special needs, across Michigan.
  • We continue to hold concerts on the third Saturday of every month at the River Raisin Distillery.
